Astell Bio: My life started at a very early age. My parents were anxiously expecting either a son or daughter, and they got me. As I grew up, an Algebra teacher told me that my life goal to become Carol Burnett was impossible, so I became interested in writing comedy for others (which ended up getting me a MA in English).
