What Needs to be Done With Government
Submitted by spikeb on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 - 11:47

What I'm about to write does not touch on a favored subject of mine,
economics. Nor does it touch upon environmentalism, or many other
issues. What I want to write about is very simple: the government
exists and doesn't appear to be going away, and we (citizens of the
world) all have various economic systems and cultures; what do we do to
control our governments?

Forget everything you know about
democracy, parliaments, congresses, elections, recalls, judicial
systems, dictatorship, and freedom; NONE OF THAT MATTERS. That's right.
Whether or not you can recall a crooked judge, defeat a corrupt
congressman in a primary, or even if you're stuck under the boot of a
money laundering dictatorship matters not.

Who should own the means of production?
Submitted by spikeb on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 - 11:46

I find it interesting that for over a hundred years, the title question
has been the singular root of any real debate over economic systems.
Even in this modern day, they who control the means of production
control everything economically.

For those of you still pondering an answer, take a look at this. Does that provide an answer for you?

I thought I would have some fun with Photoshop Elements today and create a little anti-McCain goodness.  I made it in several sizes, so grab the one that best suits your needs.  Feel free to pass it on to as many people as you like!

Just right-click on the appropriate link and select ‘Save Target As…’

Pure Bush - Small (180×86)

Pure Bush - Medium (320×153)
